Alexandra was in the Mizzou TAM fashion program with Trey, back when this whole thing was still just an idea he was quietly building in the background. She introduced herself first. That's it, that's how it started. Sometimes the biggest collaborations start because someone just said hi.
She co-designed and helped construct both pieces from our first Kansas City Fashion Week runway show, the Denim Set and the Crochet Set. That was the first time her work went down an actual runway alongside ours.
She's in New York now, doing her thing, and every piece she's made with us since is one of one, hand-stitched and embroidered by her, no two the same. Talent that was visible in a classroom is visible at a larger scale now.
